Will you love me?

Chapter 1

ZACK

“Knock, knock”

The front door was knocked.

“I’m coming”.

As the door open I could hardly believe it’s the new girl in my class. And I wonder why she’s here.

“Will you love me?” she asks me. And I ‘am quit surprise with the question, because I don’t know what her intention towards me is. And to figure it out I ask her.

 “WHAT?” asking her with such a loud voice that I think the whole block could listen. Hehe I ‘am doing it on purpose.

“Are you stupid or deaf? I ‘am asking you WILL YOU LOVE ME.”

“I ‘am not stupid neither deaf, just wonder what is it Laney. Is there something wrong with you? You seem naive but not when this kind of question comes from your cute mouth. And if this is some kind of April fool you should realize that its September ok.”

She does look cute in her yellow pajamas and green sandal with her long pony tail hair. And for once I think that she is pretty girl although with her 3 inch of glasses. What a unique person to be cute in the night but not during the day.

“Well it’s nothing actually that I think you’re cute and handsome and famous and I just fall in love with you because you are you. But.. but….then you already have a hot girlfriend I mean a very really hot one, still I want you to know that I ‘am in love with you like crazy till I could even breathe properly when I saw you. So I ‘am here to tell you, to confess to you and to ask you to love me. So I ask you again, Zack will you love me. Just for 3 month. I just need it for 3 month, and then I can live happily ever after.”

Can you imagine how clumsy she is as she saying those words only in one breath..

“WOW. This is just surprising. And I still could not believe that you are standing in front of my house which is nearly 12 blocks from your house at 11:45 p.m. ,and asking me if I am willing to love you or not. Hurmm I just don’t have the answer. Can’t you take that as an answer?”

“But you have to answer this. You just need to answer yes or no. that’s all. Is it too hard for you to make decision, hah? ” Laney bites her lips which representing annoyed feeling towards me.

“Look here Laney, you don’t know me well enough and you want me to be your boyfriend which I myself already have girlfriend and we’re not friends which make it more complicated and unaccepted.” 


I tried to explain it to her with such a good manner where I hope she would accept my rejection.

“So your answer would be NO. Will you consider it again? Yeah if you like to have more time I would be ok to wait for your answer.” 


She is something. She is just something which makes my night harder than ever. That is my first positive impression, but looking at her I felt like I want to give her a try. Yeah, why not just give her a try. It would be the greatest revenge to Marney for having scandals with my classmate.

“If you want me to accept you, why don’t you do some transformation on yourself?” Zack running his finger through Laney face and stop on her forehead. “You know, turn yourself to someone cuter or maybe sexier. If you do agree with it, then I ‘am yours.”

“But this is me. Can’t you just accept myself as who I ’am. Do I’ve to do it?”

Zack look through her with a very weird glance. The glance that tells Laney she is a weirdo and how ugly she is.    

“Look here, I ‘am not any geek in that school ok. I ‘am someone who people adore, someone who get what he want, and someone who decide the way the school run, where in other words I ‘am really someone in that school. Of course to be my girlfriend you should do the transformation. You get it.”

“So let’s give a short 1 month of trial and if you are qualified enough you can be my girl as long as you like, well if the transformation were pass by me of course.”

Laney seems to understand and agree with the condition. Even she does giving a weird face expression when agreeing with Zack condition.

“Well it’s not that I want you to love me for the rest of my life. I just want you to feel the love from me before.….. Ok got to go. Thanks dear.” and she step away from the stairs.

“Wait Marney, I mean Laney. What are you trying to say? Before what?” she step on the stairs back and look me in my eyes, and suddenly she kiss me. 


Her sudden actions surprise me and I was startle in front of the door. My mind keeps resisting the fact that I were being kissed by the ‘toad’. What is happening to me?

“Well this is a good night kiss from me. Thank you dear. I love you so much and hope you will be surprise for tomorrow.” 


I don’t want to believe the thing that is happening to me, but I cannot deny the fact that her kiss was somewhat something, so delightful. Wow could not believe that she is a good kisser. I saw her running to her truck in such a happy mood. But then I realize, that Toad just kiss me. Uwekks..

As I enter the room I could not believe what had happen for the past 30 minute. The ‘toad’ is going to be my girl. What happening to me. Why didn’t I resist her? Well this might be because I was mad to Marney right. Hurm this must be the reasons. I lie on the bed and fall asleep as nothing happen. I’ll have to wait for tomorrow to see if she is transforming or not. Well if she does the transformation then I’ll have to be her boyfriend. If not I’ll be glad of it.

LANEY

Hurm, what am I supposed to do now. Do I have to transform and return to my old life? I’m afraid of that bad memory that I’ve when I’m Laney Ransburn. I just want to stay being Laney the Toad. I’ am happy as I’ am free of doing anything.

I stop my car in front of the house. I look through the sky. The stars are shining and the glittering of the star seems shining in my heart.
